Head of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko invited to the region's stand at the RUSSIA EXPO
There are only 26 days left before the start of the International RUSSIA EXPO. All the regions of the country will present their expositions there. Among them is the diverse Leningrad region. Governor Alexander Drozdenko spoke about its main achievements.
"The Leningrad region is one of the leading regions both in terms of socio-economic development and in terms of the amount of investment in the projects being implemented in our region. For example, one of the largest investment projects in Russia is our port "Ust-Luga". And the total volume of investments in the region is 6 trillion rubles",- he said.
Every year new production facilities are launched in the region. Forty of them were opened in the last 12 months alone. Over 11 thousand jobs have been created over five years. Alexander Drozdenko emphasized that Russia has opportunities for the development of every region and person.
He also added that the Leningrad region is open for everyone who comes to live, work, and, of course, for tourists. By the way, tourist traffic in the region has doubled in five years and reached 6 million people. This is not surprising: travelers are attracted by the special northern nature, ancient fortresses, churches, manors…
"Welcome to the Leningrad region! Welcome to our region’s stand at the RUSSIA EXPO!" — said Alexander Drozdenko.
The international RUSSIA EXPO will be held at VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Each region will present its achievements in key areas. Guests will be offered an extensive business, cultural and educational program.
