Diana Gurtskaya at the RUSSIA EXPO: “If I can make at least one child happy, I am on the right path”
A meeting
with People's Artist of the Russian Federation Diana Gurtskaya took place at
the Exposition in Pavilion No. 55 “Home of Youth” as part of the All-Russian
Forum Rosmolodezh.Grants “Peak of Possibilities”.
Diana
Gurtskaya is not only a successful performer, but also a public figure. She is
a member of the Civic Chamber of Russia, Chairman of the Commission on
Accessible Environment and Development of Inclusive Practices, Artistic
Director of the Center for Social Integration, founder of the charity fund for
blind and visually impaired children “At the Call of the Heart”.
The
performer told the Exposition guests what she is inspired by when creating new
charitable initiatives.
“I think
that the most important inspiration is the desire to help. There is nothing in
life more important than that. It inspires, motivates, and makes you want to
create for the sake of it. If I can make at least one person happy, at least
one child, at least one parent, then I am on the right path. This is the main
thing in our life - to help those who need this help. If I and my wonderful
team manage to help - it is a great happiness," said Diana Gurtskaya.
She
emphasized that good and kind deeds do not require loud publicity.
“Charity is
a very capacious word. Charity is to do good deeds. Sometimes I even feel
uncomfortable to talk about it loudly, because the main thing is to do, not to
talk. The main thing is to do good deeds sincerely and with a soul,
really," added Diana Gurtskaya.
She also
noted that despite all the difficulties, she has no right to be discouraged and
give up, as many people count on her help.
“I realize
that there are different situations in life, but when there are people who need
me and my support, I simply do not have the right to drop my hands. I can't let
that happen,” the artist emphasized.
She also
urged the guests of the meeting to dream and believe that their dreams will
definitely come true.
“A dream is
a goal, a dream is our tomorrow, what we strive for. If we have a dream, we
must do everything to make it come true. We need to believe in ourselves and in
our dreams. I myself am a person who loves to dream, a dreamer in life: I
dreamed of singing on stage - and it happened, I dreamed of releasing an album
- and I am releasing them. I also dreamed of creating a festival where blind
and visually impaired children could tell about themselves through creativity -
and that also happened. The main thing is to want it very much, and then the
whole universe will contribute to making your dreams come true!” summarized
Diana Gurtskaya.
