Dmitry Medvedev opened the Third All-Russian Forum titled "Women Who Create the Future" at the National Centre RUSSIA

On 14 October, the Third All-Russian Forum "Women Who Create the Future" started at the National Centre RUSSIA. The Forum is held as part of the "United Russia Women's Movement" party project. The event brought together more than 700 attendees — chairwomen of regional public councils, coordinators and activists from 89 regions of the country, politicians, deputies, representatives of public associations, and experts.

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia and Chairman of the United Russia Party, opened the Forum. He reminded the audience that women head almost two thirds of the Party’s primary branches, and this field work is very hard. Dmitry Medvedev also stressed the huge role of women in life, and thanked them for everything they do for the country and for United Russia.

"We do a lot of things within the framework of the “United Russia Women's Movement”. In three years, 200,000 women took part in the project in all regions of our country. I would like to mention the work of women's clubs — two thousand such clubs have already been created. They have their own infrastructure, they discuss the most pressing and important issues for our country, such as health, motherhood, childhood and many others, including women's entrepreneurship," Dmitry Medvedev said.

According to him, since the beginning of 2025, the members of the Women's Movement have held more than three thousand events to support the special military operation heroes. Such projects as "Life After Victory", "Following the Call of the Heart", "You Are Not Alone" have appeared, and this is the most important thing that we have today, the Chairman of the United Russia Party added.

"Female deputies of the regional legislative assemblies make up 19% of the deputies' total number, and 81% there are men. In administrative centres, 24% are women. If we talk about the municipal cycle, almost half of the employees there — 48% —  are women. At the same time, 69% of the secretaries of the party’s primary branches in our country today are women (including participants in the “Women's Movement” party project). And since the work on the land is the hardest, it turns out that the biggest burden in the party today is taken by women. I want to thank you very much for this," said Vladimir Yakushev, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia.

The results of the United Voting Day-2025 show that about 31% of the mandates were given to women who represented United Russia at the elections, Vladimir Yakushev emphasized.

The women's union has become one of the largest in the country, said Darya Lantratova, Co-chair of the Public Council of the "United Russia Women's Movement" federal party project, Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy. According to her, more than a million female activists have already been involved in the movement's activities. Branches operate in all regions of Russia, and in almost all municipalities.

"Our main task is to find and support those "diamonds" on the land. Today, only a small part of our wonderful, enterprising women are present in this hall — those who have a lot of ideas and, most importantly, the energy to bring these ideas to life," said Darya Lantratova.

More than a thousand unification events have been taking place throughout Russia every day, said Natalya Poluyanova, coordinator of the "United Russia Women's Movement" federal party project, deputy of the State Duma.

"Three years ago, we started as an initiative group focused on border regions, and on social and humanitarian support. Since then, this area has become a key one, and sewing manufactures and volunteer associations have appeared all over Russia to help the front," said Natalya Poluyanova, coordinator of the "United Russia Women's Movement" federal party project, the State Duma deputy.

Lyudmila Bolilaya, Hero of the Russian Federation, nurse of the motorized rifle unit, Corporal, also addressed the Forum attendees. According to her, all those who take part in the “United Russia Women's Movement” are people who bring kindness, warmth and care. She thanked the organization for providing humanitarian aid, supporting veterans of the special military operation, and organizing cultural events.

"The Women's Movement plays a special role — the role of a mother, daughter, and sister. It helps to return to a full life. I have walked my own path through the war, however small, but still painful, and I myself felt this help and support. This is a precious impetus to win and return home alive. The fighters who are returning from the front, their mothers who are waiting for them, their wives – these are the ones who need to be presented in government. These are people who will not let you down or betray you. These are the people you want to follow," Lyudmila Bolilaya said.

The Forum is dedicated to supporting women's leadership, developing professional opportunities, and harmonious combination of motherhood and career. Special attention is paid to the involvement of women in science, technology and public activities, as well as their role in legislative decision-making.

The “United Russia Women's Movement” has become a platform for the implementation and scaling up of initiatives in the social sphere, entrepreneurship and politics. All over the country, there are women's clubs, educational programmes featuring family health, online courses, and educational projects. The movement's activists are strengthening cooperation with the regions and public organizations by participating in the formation of the party's new People's Programme.
