Giant Vladimir gingerbread to be presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
A huge Pokrov gingerbread will be part of the Vladimir region’s exposition at the International RUSSIA EXPO.
The region is preparing an unusual decoration for its stand. The 2 by 3 meter-sized gingerbread with the cities of the Vladimir region will surprise the guests of the exposition, and will also become a nominee for getting into the Book of Records of Russia, treating guests with a giant delicacy is also planned.
"Since August, our region has been holding a contest for the best layout for painting a giant copy of our gastronomic brand — Pokrov gingerbread. It will be part of the exposition of the region-33 at the International RUSSIA EXPO, which will open at the VDNH in Moscow on November 4. The jury decided that the best one was the drawing of the pupils of the Vladimir creative workshop of Oksana Robarovskaya. The sketch was technically finalized by the company "Pokrov Gingerbread", — wrote the governor of the Vladimir region Alexander Avdeev in his Telegram-channel.
The winning drawing depicts the famous Golden Gate in Vladimir, the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Petushki, the "Alexander Sloboda" Museum-Reserve, the Suzdal Kremlin, the monument to Ilya Muromets in Murom, the merchant Shorin’s house in Gorokhovets. The artisans will put the drawing on the gingerbread by hand.
