Yulia Baranovskaya spoke about social projects and selfless help at the RUSSIA EXPO
On June 27, a creative meeting was held by TV and radio presenter Yulia Baranovskaya. The event was held in Pavilion No. 55 "Home of Youth" in the lecture hall of the Russian Society "Knowledge", which is the general partner of the Exposition. The discussion was moderated by Alina Kovaleva, an investor, social entrepreneur and founder of the Skolkovo ESG Club.
Yulia Baranovskaya described what qualities a social entrepreneur should possess and noted that in order to work in this field, one needs empathy for people.
"The popularity of social entrepreneurship began to emerge since COVID-19. The main quality that such a person should possess is empathy for people and a desire to help them. I can say with certainty that these are the people who know how to earn money, have an entrepreneurial spirit, but at the same time will not pass by someone else's misfortune and are ready to help gratuitously," said Yulia Baranovskaya.
The TV presenter also answered the question about the trip to the DPR and LPR, as well as the reasons that prompted her to create a social project "Women of Donbass".
"When the special military operation began, I, as a person working in the media, was obliged to go there, because, from my point of view, you can not tell a huge number of citizens information and not see what you tell about with your own eyes. And it was after my first trip to Donbass and everything I saw that I got the idea to create the project "Women of Donbass", which tells stories about resilient, courageous girls. And all these stories are very difficult, but they are worthy of attention and, of course, admiration," emphasized Yulia Baranovskaya.
