Guests of the National Centre shared their impressions of the "Faces of Music" Concert
The audience spoke about their emotions after the concert program "Faces of Music." On the stage of the concert hall at the National Centre RUSSIA, visitors enjoyed performances by guitarist and composer Roman Miroshnichenko, Mexican bassist Marco Mendoza, Timofei Grigorovich from the rock band Gorky Park, the Yunash Bros Trio — three musician brothers, and acoustic guitar virtuoso Vadim Chebanov.
Over a thousand guests heard new interpretations of famous compositions, as well as original works in rock, jazz, flamenco, and ethnic styles.
"We came as a family — mom, dad, and three kids. Our youngest is one year and eight months old, and she enjoyed it the most. We introduce our children to music and try to attend events whenever possible. The National Centre RUSSIA provides such opportunities. I really liked the music. I expected it to be heavy, but the young performers played wonderful guitar music. It was enjoyable for both adults and children," shared the guest of the National Centre Irina Dosarova, a mother of three.
"I really liked it. I discovered new musicians and heard music from films. I simply love music, so I was happy to experience such a unique format. I would recommend these concerts to everyone because the program suits all ages," said Anna Subbotina, a future volunteer and member of the Russian Student Brigades.
"I liked Roman Miroshnichenko’s piece 'Africa' the most. Every note and melody reminded me of Africa — the deserts, giraffes, and all the flora and fauna. That was my association. I've been playing the guitar for three years. I saw that this kind of music can be played and learned, so I will try to master it," emphasized Dmitry Ogibelsky, an 8th-grade student at School No. 1412.
"I liked that there were both classical guitar pieces and more modern rock music. The kids enjoyed rock more — they started dancing. Instrumental music without vocals was more unusual for my husband than for me. But I really enjoyed the guitar performance," noted the guest of the National Centre Kristina Gashidze, a mother of two.
