Astrakhan region will present its successes in handball at the RUSSIA EXPO. This is the favorite sport of the region's residents.

 The film dedicated to the achievements of Astrakhan handball will be included in the presentation program of the Astrakhan region. After all, the region really has a lot to be proud of: it has given the country 13 champions and medalists of the Olympic Games, more than 50 winners and medalists of world and European championships and championships. Honored coaches, masters of sports of the USSR and the Russian Federation, masters of sports of Russia of international class come from the region.

 Many famous athletes will perform at the stand of the Astrakhan region. For example, Lev Voronin, Soviet and Russian handball player, Olympic and world champion. Now the famous handball player is the director general of the Russian Handball Federation.

 The main heroes of Astrakhan handball are the teams "Dynamo" and "Astrakhanochka", they defend the honor of the region in the Super League of the Russian championship. Just the other day "Astrakhanochka" defeated Zvenigorod "Zvezda" and secured the fourth place in the country.

 As a reminder, the Astrakhan region is preparing an unusual presentation for the RUSSIA EXPO.
