Krasnoyarsk region presented the main achievements and development priorities of the second largest region of Russia
Economic,
investment, tourism potential and promising investment projects will be
presented on the day of the Krasnoyarsk region. By the scale of attracted
investments the Krasnoyarsk region is confidently in the lead in Siberia and is
among the top ten Russian regions.
Even before
the official opening, major sporting events of the region for 2024 were
presented. These are the Match of Stars of the Association of Student
Basketball, the Anniversary XXXV Ivan Yarygin Cup, as well as the Winter
Spartakiad of the Strongest - the largest sporting event of the year.
"The
Krasnoyarsk region is the most populated region beyond the Urals and a leader
in terms of many economic indicators: we have already built a bridge across the
Yenisei River, now we are building the long-awaited metro. Such objects will be
part of the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk. Now our city is the first in
copper-nickel group metals and one of the leaders in gold. Thanks to the
program approved by the Russian Government on the decision of President
Vladimir Putin, Norilsk - the city where miners and workers of the mining and
ore complex live - is undergoing a comprehensive change. Our coking coal
reserves are comparable to Australia. And in order to make these reserves
available, the most modern mining technologies are applied in Taymyr," - said the head of the region Mikhail Kotyukov.
The head of
the Krasnoyarsk region talked about the tourist potential of the region, which
is famous for ecological, skiing and health tourism. In addition, the Governor presented to the
public the investment capital of the mineral-rich region, as well as the
complex investment project "Yenisei Siberia", aimed at socio-economic
development of the Krasnoyarsk region, the Republic of Khakassia and the
Republic of Tyva. More than 70 companies, including leaders of the world market
of industrial products, take part in its implementation.
One of the
important development projects of the region in recent years is the
construction of the Vysokogorsky Bridge. The northernmost bridge across the
Yenisei, built on the instructions of Russian President Vladimir Putin, creates
a powerful impetus for the region's economic development and ensures
uninterrupted communication between the Yenisei and North Yenisei districts.
The opening of the Astafiev National Center to mark the 100th anniversary of
the Siberian writer in 2024 will be a bright cultural event for the Krasnoyarsk
region.
According
to the head of state, the development of Siberia is a priority of national
policy. With the support of the Government, as part of the execution of the
President's instructions, projects aimed at developing the region's
transportation infrastructure are being financed. Among them is the
construction of a high-speed underground metro line in Krasnoyarsk. The
President's instructions to Gazprom, the Russian Government and the Krasnoyarsk
region to gasify Krasnoyarsk by the 400th anniversary of the city in 2028 are
significant for the residents of the regional capital.
The
culmination of the cultural program of the Krasnoyarsk Region Day is the
concert "My Homeland - Siberia!" The best bands of the region perform
on the Main Stage of the exposition, including the world-famous Siberian Dance
Ensemble named after Mikhail Godenko. The ensemble of song and dance of the
peoples of the North "Heiro" will immerse the audience into the
culture of indigenous small-numbered peoples. The name of the group means
"rising sun" in the Dolgan language. All artists of the ensemble are
representatives of the indigenous peoples of Taymyr.
The guests
of the Day of the Krasnoyarsk Region will also enjoy a wide educational
program. Its participants will watch the "performance" of the mighty
Yenisei, "feel" the great Surikov and learn interesting facts about
Stolbism (kind of freestyle mountaineering) from the famous rock climber and
mountaineer, the hero of the Krasnoyarsk movie "Where Our Home Is"
Nikolai Zakharov. By the way, at the lecture "Stolbism - a unique
phenomenon originating from Krasnoyarsk" there will also be an immersion
into the flavors of taiga and rocks of "Krasnoyarsk Pillars". It will
be organized by Alexey Boltachev, a perfumer-miner from Norilsk, who combines
work in the mine with the creation of unique fragrances.
Special
attention in the program is paid to Krasnoyarsk film industry. Two films made
by directors from the Krasnoyarsk region will be shown at the exposition. On
the same day a discussion platform will be launched, where specialists will
discuss the types of support for the film industry, which operate in the
region, and the shooting season of the next year.
The
business program includes the signing of a number of agreements: with the
Russian Freestyle Federation, the FederalPress media holding, and the Lenfilm
studio.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the whole time of the Exposition, guests are welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations will be presented to the visitors. The International RUSSIA EXPO will run from November 4 until April 12 at VDNH in Moscow.
The exposition is open Tuesday through Sunday, Monday is a technical day. The most convenient time to visit is in the morning and weekdays, but the exposition is also open to everyone on weekends. Admission to all expositions and events is free of charge.
The "Scientist of the Future" research relay was held as part of the International Symposium "Inventing the Future."
The excursion was dedicated to the history and architecture of the capital.
Unique editions were presented by participants from China and the United Arab Emirates.
