On 7 and 8 May, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the historical performance "Soldiers' Dreams", based on wartime chronicles and dedicated to Victory Day. The production will feature People's Artist of the RSFSR Lev Leshchenko.

"Dear friends, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on the upcoming holiday — Victory Day! I invite you to the National Centre RUSSIA to attend the performance "Soldiers' Dreams". This is the story of our people, the story of our Victory. Come and join us — the performance can be watched from anywhere in the world," said the People's Artist of the RSFSR.

The production will be one of the grandest at the National Centre RUSSIA. Around 500 performers will take part, including the Rosgvardia Choir, the Gzhel Dance Theatre, children's ensembles and soloists. Audiences will see on one stage People's Artists of Russia: Ilya Reznik, Sergei Shakurov and Valeriya, Honoured Artists of Russia — Yelena Vaenga and Varvara, as well as widely popular contemporary performers such as Klava Koka and Khabib, among others. They will perform songs both in their classical renditions and in new arrangements.

A special gift for audiences on 7 May will be a performance in the foyer before the show by a combined children's brass band under the direction of Mikhail President of the Russian Brass Society, Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, and member of the Presidential Council for Culture and Art. More than 130 young musicians from three Moscow ensembles will perform melodies to which soldiers went into battle and celebrated Victory — marches, waltzes, and songs about courage and love for the Motherland.

You can register for the historical performance "Soldiers' Dreams" on the website russia.ru in the "Events" section. Stay tuned for updates.
