Mother’s Love as the Foundation of Upbringing: A Meeting of Mothers of Many Children Held at the National Centre RUSSIA
A warm meeting with mothers of many children, participants
of the Childhood Navigators project, took place at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Deputy Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA Anastasia Zvyagina and
Director of the Russian Children and Youth’s Centre (Rosdetcentre) Alexander
Kudryashov spoke with them about why supporting motherhood and preserving
traditional family values remain the guiding principle for upbringing the
younger generation.
"Motherhood is a labour that requires immense
dedication and yet often goes unnoticed. However, it is precisely this labour
that shapes a child's character, values, and an inner core. By supporting
mothers, we support the future of our country. And it is very important to us
that women feel that they are listened to and thanked for what they do every
day," said Anastasia Zvyagina.
A strong family is the foundation of a healthy upbringing environment,
according to the meeting attendees. Therefore, supporting parents and creating
a space where mothers feel attention and receive assistance are becoming key
areas for the educational and public projects of the National Centre RUSSIA,
the Rosdetcentre, and other organisations.
"It is very pleasant for us to be seen, cared for, and
loved. The same way our children love us, it turns out, adults love us too. And
when one's superiors show care, that is truly priceless," shared her
impressions of the event Yelena Popova from the Republic of Mordovia.
The meeting was held at the National Centre RUSSIA as part
of the International Forum "A New Philosophy of Upbringing". The
event brought together over 1,600 advisors to school principals on upbringing;
regional and municipal coordinators of the Childhood Navigators project; active
schoolchildren; representatives of the parent community; mentors; and veterans
of the Special Military Operation engaged in enlightening and patriotic
activities. The entrants came from 89 federal subjects of Russia and the city
of Baikonur. Delegations from the Republic of Abkhazia, the Republic of South
Ossetia, and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic also took part in the event.
It addresses contemporary issues in meteorology relevant to Russia and the entire world.
More than 30 participants gathered at the venue: residents of Vladivostok — from schoolchildren to senior citizens — as well as representatives of regional authorities and the expert community.
Dear visitors, from 1 to 5 December the National Centre RUSSIA will be closed to the public.
