Krasnodar will present its tourist brand at the RUSSIA EXPO

On Saturday, July 6, at 11:30 within the Days of Krasnodar at the stand of the Krasnodar region at the VDNH in Pavilion No. 75, the head of the city Evgeny Naumov together with the developers of the brandbook will present the tourist brand of the Kuban capital with a logo and slogan that reflect the tourist attractiveness of the city.
Tourist brand of Krasnodar was developed to popularize domestic tourism to meet the objectives set by the President of Russia V.V. Putin within the framework of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry".
According to the developers, Krasnodar is the fastest growing city in the country, a transportation hub, a versatile city, and they sought to reflect all this in the logo. The letter "K" in the centre and rays of different sizes diverging to the sides symbolize different opportunities of the city. Together with the tourist brand, the trademark slogan "Let's Meet in Krasnodar" will be used.
Territorial branding is currently one of the most important elements in the development of the tourism industry in the regions. Its goal is to create a unique image of the city to attract tourists, improve the image of the territory, increase competitiveness and ultimately achieve more dynamic economic development.
In addition to the official presentation of the tourist brand, a rich program is planned at the stand of the Krasnodar region. On Saturday and Sunday there will be masterclasses on goldwork sewing, making (felting) toys from wool and filleting and guipure embroidery. Participants of the masterclasses will receive souvenirs.
On July 6 and 7, the stand will host a quiz about Krasnodar, dedicated to its history, geographical location and symbols. The quiz will be conducted by a famous Krasnodar actor and showman Andrei Tregubov. The main prize is a trip for two to Krasnodar: a certificate for two persons for hotel accommodation, a city tour and a dinner in a restaurant.
During two days there will be a fashion show of clothes and accessories of Krasnodar designers "Krasnodar Style". Abundance of bright colors, floral prints, expression of the South - all this is embodied in fashionable dresses, suits, hats, jewelry by Igor Abramov, Maya Trofimova, Vera Shauro, Inna Meirabyan, Tatyana Organ, Julia Golubeva-Shlenkevich.
A video about the achievements of Krasnodar will be broadcast at the stand, and there will be performances of creative teams: the ensemble "Slavitsa", artists of the creative association "Premiere" Ilya Filippov and Armen Hambartsumyan.
Another event for the visitors to the Exposition will be the creation of a painting dedicated to the Year of the Family. The event will be held for two days with the participation of visitors to the Exposition. They will have to mix paints in a palette and apply colors to the canvas by numbers.
Thus, through the Exposition visitors, the art project of Krasnodar will involve all of Russia. The numbers they colored will be placed on an interactive map indicating the regions from which the visitors came. A masterclass on painting and the basics of color science will be conducted by Yulia Veis, a teacher at the Krasnodar Children's Art School named after Filippov, a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, an active participant of all-Russian and regional exhibitions and biennales. All participants of the art project will receive souvenirs.
