The RUSSIA EXPO is hosting the Literary Festival "The Most Reading". The opening discussion "Literature of the Present" featured director Konstantin Bogomolov and literary critic Dmitry Bak.

"Despite the fact that visual art is aggressively trying to oust the arts that are more 'modest', 'ancient' and, in a sense, 'introverted' - we have book publishing at its height, and both poetry and prose are very powerful. This festival is intended to remind once again what a rich literary heritage we possess and what wonderful contemporaries we have. It is addressed to those who love literature, to those who can fall in love with it. In a word, I invite everyone to come here: it's nice, cozy, intelligent and talented," said Konstantin Bogomolov, artistic director of the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya.

The organizers and participants of the festival "The Most Reading" together seek an answer to the question of the role of literature and reading in the life of modern man, help contemporary authors to build a dialogue with readers, develop the interaction of literature with other forms of art.

"There are many wonderful festivals - theater, book, music. But to have everything together on one stage and on one platform - there are still no such festivals. It unites contemporary theater, cinema, music, literature, book publishing, as well as programs for children. It is a single piece of art, because you can read, in a figurative sense, not only books: you can read the meaning of a performance, you can try to express music in words - that is, this is a festival of all modern arts," emphasized Dmitry Bak, literary critic, director of the V.I. Dahl State Museum of the History of Russian Literature, professor of the Russian State University for the Humanities and the V.I. Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Art Theater School.

The participants of the opening discussion also included Marina Brusnikina, chief director of the Russian State Academic Youth Theater and artistic director of the Praktika Theater; Ksenia Belkevich, deputy director for development of the V.I. Dahl State Academic Youth Theater; and Tatiana Stoyanova, brand manager of the "Elena Shubina Editorial House". They talked about their participation in the extensive program of the Festival, spoke about the connection between theater and literature, discussed how to learn to understand art, what is the power of the poetic word, how to convey to the audience the intended meanings, how to turn poetry from "introvert" to "extrovert" and how to attract as many people as possible - especially young people - to the educational mission of the Festival.

The festival "The Most Reading" will be held at the RUSSIA EXPO from March 8 to 10. Poetry readings, performances, book presentations, discussions about literature and cinema, an interactive exposition, children's masterclasses, quests and much more are waiting for guests.
