The RUSSIA EXPO hosted the Points of Attraction dance festival
On May 3, the International RUSSIA EXPO hosted a dance
festival as part of the Points of Attraction project. The best children's and
youth teams from all over the country took part in the event.
During two weeks of the distance stage of the festival, the experts
reviewed more than 300 applications. The winners of the selection were 29 teams
working in different directions — from pop choreography and hip-hop to
classical and folk dance. Each team became a laureate in a particular special
nomination. Among them were: "Expressiveness and Brightness",
"Expression and Movement", "Energy and Drive", also awards
were given for contribution to the development of dance direction and high
level of professional skills.
The festival turned out to be large-scale in terms of the
list of participants, said Anastasia Getmanenko, director of the Tertia Center
for Contemporary Art. The teams gathered here not only from Moscow and the
Moscow region, but also from the Yaroslavl, Samara and other regions.
"The particularity of the festival is that each team
receives a diploma in the nomination specially chosen for it. We emphasize the
uniqueness that each of the teams carries. There are no losers here,"
added Sergei Isaev, head of the Points of Attraction project of the Federal
Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
The festival was organized by the Tertia Center for
Contemporary Art together with the Points of Attraction project with the
support of BRADEX.
