The RUSSIA EXPO hosted the largest mass wedding ceremony in the country

The wedding ceremony was held as part of the First All-Russian Wedding Festival on the Main Street Stage of the Exposition, and 151 couples from all over the country took part in the ceremony. Among them were Mikhail Medyanik and Victoria Ishchenko from Blagoveshchensk.
“It is a pride that we came here from the Amur region - the only couple at such an event. We are very happy that we came here,” the newlyweds shared.
Before the official registration of the marriage, the future newlyweds together with artists and a musical ensemble went through the Exposition in a festive procession. Amur residents were handed over the fire of the “Heart of Russia” family hearth, which was lit as part of the ceremony of the start of the Year of the Family with the participation of the President. Afterwards, they were treated to a concert featuring Polina Gagarina, Irina Dubtsova and other artists.
