The Festival of Professions continues at the International RUSSIA EXPO. More than 150 masterclasses by experts, meetings with major employers, lectures, career guidance tests, quizzes, excursions, and presentations of educational programs were held at the exposition. The main goal of the festival is to show the diversity of the modern labor market, to help young people who are just deciding on their future profession or first job to find the best option.
During the festival applicants were presented the most demanded and promising professions in industry, agriculture, construction, transport, IT, science, social sphere and hospitality industry. Delegations of the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Migration Policy of the Samara region and employers of the region take part in the festival. In March, specialists of KuibyshevAzot PJSC offered their vacancies, in April AVTOVAZ presented its enterprise and workplaces. This week representatives of the integrated social service center "Rovesnik" are working at the Exposition to present a vacancy of a social teacher, as well as representatives of the Reaviz medical university with a career guidance masterclass in the specialty "Medicine: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation".
"Organizations and enterprises of the Samara region were presented at the Festival of Professions in different directions, - said Marina Nalivalkina, Deputy Director of the Managing Center of Employment of the Samara region. - The very format of the event allows visitors not only to learn about professions, but also to participate in real work processes, and this certainly generates interest. We had a similar experience in our region last year, when we held an exposition of professions. It was the first such exposition, and it was very highly appreciated by visitors of different ages. At the Federal Festival of Professions, we also tried to make our program useful for completely different categories of visitors, but first of all it was focused on young people who are still deciding on their professional path. I hope we helped them in this".
Specialists of the employment service also offered a program to the guests of the Exposition. During the week, the Samara region stand at the RUSSIA EXPO is hosting a career guidance board game "Professional Bingo" and various masterclasses. Consultations are held for anyone interested in employment opportunities in the Samara region. The enterprises of the Samara region currently offer more than 45 thousand vacancies in various fields, there are a number of support measures for young specialists, including those who are ready to move to the Samara region in order to find a job.
The final event of the Festival of Professions on April 12 will be the regional stage of the All-Russian Employment Fair. This is an opportunity for participants to be interviewed by several employers at once, to find a job both inside and outside their region.
For the first time the All-Russian Employment Fair was held in 2023. More than 900 thousand people took part in the two stages of the fair, regional and federal, and more than 35 thousand employers presented more than 785 thousand vacancies. According to the results, almost more than 123 thousand job seekers were employed.
