Vladimir Putin noted the role of the RUSSIA EXPO in promoting traditional values during his address to the Federal Assembly

Russian President Vladimir Putin delivers his annual address to the Federal Assembly. In his speech, the head of state reminded that the Year of the Family in our country was launched at the RUSSIA EXPO.

"Dear friends, colleagues, I am sure many people have visited the RUSSIA EXPO. People come here to see for themselves and to show their children how rich and vast our Motherland is. The RUSSIA EXPO launched the Year of the Family. The values of love, mutual support and trust are passed on in the family from generation to generation. As well as culture, traditions, history, moral foundations. And, of course, the main purpose of a family is to give birth to children," the President said.

According to him, some countries deliberately destroy moral norms, family institutions and push whole nations to extinction. Russia, on the other hand, chooses life, he pointed out.

It should be reminded that Vladimir Putin visited the RUSSIA EXPO four times. In early February 2024, he spoke at the Congress of the Movement of the First, Russian Movement of Children and Youth. Prior to that, the president visited the exposition as part of the Dear - Loved Ones All-Russian Family Forum. The President talked to families from different regions of the country and launched the Year of the Family in Russia.

The head of state also delivered a speech at the United Russia party congress and presented the Volunteer of the Year award. The President toured various pavilions and expositions. These included the Atom and Made by Us pavilions, expositions of the Movement of the First, the presidential platform Russia - Land of Opportunity, regional stands and other expositions.
