Russian cosmonauts congratulated women on Mother’s Day from aboard the ISS

cosmonauts Ivan Vagner, Alexander Gorbunov, and Alexei Ovchinin took part in
the nationwide flash mob "Mothers Are Our Stars," dedicated to
Mother's Day, and prepared a special holiday message from aboard the ISS.
They spoke
about how family shapes each individual's personality and the vital role of
mothers in this process, as well as the immense power of maternal love!
To all
wives, sisters, mothers, and grandmothers, the residents of orbit wished
endless happiness, health, warmth, and for every year to be the Year of the
Family and every day to be Mother's Day.
The rules
of the nationwide flash mob "Mothers Are Our Stars" are simple: write
a post on social media to congratulate mothers on Mother's Day, add a photo or
video, and include the hashtags #МамыНашиЗвезды and #ГодСемьи.
More than 3.5 million viewers watched the multi-genre play "Morozko" online, while over 12,000 people attended the performance at the National Centre RUSSIA.
