A family from Ulyanovsk visited the National Centre as part of the "New Year Tree of Wishes" project
The
Silchenkov family from Ulyanovsk — sisters Anna and Ksenia, along with their
mother Oksana — took a tour of the National Centre RUSSIA. Thanks to the "
New Year Tree of Wishes " initiative, thirteen-year-old Anna Silchenkova
traveled to Moscow. Her dream was fulfilled by the State Secretary — Deputy
Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, Anna Tsivileva. The guests
visited the Great Moscow Circus, Red Square, and many other landmarks of the
capital, concluding their cultural program at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Their
journey through the National Centre began at the New Year trees decorated with
symbols of the federal districts, representing Russia’s diversity. In the
"Library of the Future" and the "Hall of Inventions," the
guests explored the connection between science fiction literature and real
discoveries, played interactive games, and sent a symbolic greeting from space
to their friends.
The
exposition "Time of the First" left guests with a magical impression.
The tour concluded in the "Legacy for the Future" hall, where the
family explored works by young artists from various countries.
"The
experience was wonderful — everything was so beautiful. We really enjoyed the
gallery, the paintings, and the interactive items. The 'Alice in Wonderland'
section in the 'Time of the First' hall was also very interesting," shared
Oksana Silchenkova.
The
nationwide "New Year Tree of Wishes" initiative has been held since
2018. It helps fulfill New Year’s wishes for children in difficult life
situations, orphans, children with disabilities, as well as gifted youngsters.
Every year, members of the Russian Government, public officials, and community
leaders take part in the initiative.
