Grand closing ceremony of the RUSSIA EXPO to take place on July 6
The grand closing ceremony of the International RUSSIA EXPO
will take place on July 6. Guests can look forward to performances by stars and
dance groups, as well as meetings with renowned athletes.
The International RUSSIA EXPO has been a vibrant showcase of
the country's innovations, achievements and talents. Over the eight months of
its operation, more than 17 million people have visited the Exposition, getting
acquainted with the accomplishments of all regions of the Russian Federation,
major corporations, federal structures and public organizations. Visitors also
witnessed cutting-edge technological developments, breakthrough discoveries and
Russia's major victories in industry, culture and sports.
To honor the Exposition’s closure, a grand festive program
has been prepared for Moscow residents and guests of the capital. The concert
will take place across the entire VDNH territory, with several stages operating
simultaneously for the guests. The program includes a summary of the RUSSIA
EXPO results and performances by well-known artists and musicians.
The stage will feature SHAMAN, Oleg Gazmanov, the OTYKEN
band, Pelageya, Dmitry Koldun, Alexei Vorobyov, Anatoly Zhuravlev, ST, Anton
Shagin, Tatyana Kurtukova, Natalia Podolskaya, Valeria Lanskaya, Sergei
Makhovikov, Islam Itlyashev, Askar Abdrazakov, Gurude, Alexander Vanyushkin,
Alexandra Vorobyova, Taipan and IL`GIZ, BARDASH, Radusha, Zventa Sventana and
others.
Additionally, leading folk dance and choral groups from
across the country will perform for the guests. Legends of Russian sport,
participants of the "Alley of Glory" exposition, will also join the
concert: Sergei Karyakin, and Vyacheslav Fetisov
will take the stage.
The festive concert will be broadcast on Channel One. The hosts of the concert are Yana Churikova, Valdis Pelsh, Svetlana Zeynalova and Timur Solovyov. The grand ceremony will start at 18:30.
Hosted festive events dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Association of Indigenous Small-Numbered Peoples of the North, Siberia, and the Far East of the Russian Federation, and the 95th anniversary of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.
The international campaign "Victory Dictation" took place in Moscow on April 25 across 497 venues.
Essayist participating in the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took a guided tour of the interactive exposition "Journey Across Russia".
