"Everything here feels warm, familiar and reminiscent of childhood": Uzbek model on the National Centre RUSSIA stand in Tashkent
The flagship project of the National Centre RUSSIA — its
Department Store — is becoming a point of attraction for celebrities and
journalists at the trade fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia". On 21 April,
the stand of the National Centre RUSSIA was visited by popular bloggers from
Uzbekistan. They explored products by Russian manufacturers and regional craft
traditions, and spoke with Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA,
Natalia Virtuozova. Among the notable guests, Uzbek model Nigina Fakhriddinova
shared particularly warm impressions of the exposition.
"The Department Store RUSSIA impressed me a lot — it is
the most striking among all. As soon as you enter INNOPROM, the stand of the
National Centre RUSSIA is the first thing that catches your eye. I especially
liked that everything here feels warm and familiar, like being at your
grandmother’s home: a tea set that you know well, beautiful tablecloths. I was
also drawn to the Russian traditional shawls — they are beautiful and
distinctive. It feels like you would not find them anywhere else; it’s truly
your signature style. As for the sweets — toffee, jam, chocolate bars — all of
this brings back childhood memories, the things we used to have in the
past," said Nigina Fakhriddinova.
She noted the high standard of the exposition and the
diversity of the products showcased — from contemporary design solutions to
traditional crafts. Particular interest was drawn to items where traditional
motifs have been reinterpreted in a modern format accessible to an
international audience. These include handmade tableware, roly-poly dolls,
Dymkovo toys, Pavlovo Posad shawls and many other items.
At the trade fair "INNOPROM. Central Asia", the
dialogue of cultures is becoming increasingly visible, expanding in scale and
resonating with new audiences. Content created by visitors at the Department
Store has already begun to spread across social media, drawing wider attention
to Russian brands and the cultural heritage of the country’s regions. In this
way, the exposition continues beyond the trade fair space itself.
From 27 to 29 April, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A New Platform for Global Growth".
A master meeting with Konstantin Pridybaylo was held as part of the Young Journalists School project at the National Centre RUSSIA.
