Hand-painted icons

Icons of the most revered saints in Russia, hand-painted in traditional styles. The image of St. Seraphim of Sarov (20 by 40 cm) is painted in the academic style, the icon of St. Spiridon of Trimiphunt (18 by 21 cm) — in the Palekh style. The image of St. Xenia of St. Petersburg (20 by 24 cm) is in the Fryazhsky style. The icons are painted according to ancient technologies: on lime boards, covered with special primer, gilding and varnish. Images are painted with tempera — a mixture of pigment and egg yolk.
