Andrei Belousov summarized the results of the Government's industry days at the Exposition

First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov announced the main results of the work of ministries and agencies at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

"In this month and a half anyone interested could personally see how the state has changed over more than 20 years. There were 18 pavilions of ministries and agencies, and each of them showed the best successes and achievements in the area under their jurisdiction over the past 20 years. A unique phenomenon is a reduced working copy of the Government Coordination Center, where real events were held," said Andrei Belousov.

He also recalled that within the Days of the Russian Economy and the National Achievements Forum alone, the Exposition was visited by almost 2.6 million people, 250 events were held with the participation of deputy prime ministers and federal ministers. The key outcome of these events was the opportunity for any visitor to the Exposition to see how the country and the way of life of the Russians have changed.

"The average life expectancy has increased from 65 to 74 years. Thanks to mortgage and preferential programs, we have reached a record -110 million square meters - in housing construction. Almost 85% of industrial capacities have been built anew," the First Deputy Prime Minister said, dwelling on the indicators of the current level of economic development.

The agro-industrial complex has become one of the drivers not only of the Russian, but also of the global economy. Russia has turned from an importer into the largest exporter of food products, having covered its own supply of many of them, emphasized Andrei Belousov.

"These are unconditional achievements. They show that we have created a stable and solid base for overcoming any challenges facing the country," he said.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered at one site. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 7 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
