Buryatia is going to set up a yurt at the International RUSSIA EXPO. It will become the main highlight of the pavilion. Thus, guests will find lots of interesting things inside.

An immersive yurt will take the central part in the exposition of Buryatia. Once getting inside, visitors can see lake Baikal, jewelry made from jade, production of modern helicopters and many other things. The pavilion is already being actively prepared.

"A large-scale exposition is planned under the slogan "Baikal — Buryatia. Traditions with the future". The centre of Buryatia’s pavilion will be an immersive yurt equipped with a video wall, which will demonstrate traditional dwelling decoration", — says Igor Khalbaev, chairman of the Committee for External Relations of the Ministry of Economy of the region.

The representative of the region also noted that the exposition would demonstrate the tourism potential of the republic and showcase the development of local industries as well.

Meanwhile, the guests will be able to participate in calligraphy master classes and national games.

Everyone interested will also be able to make wishes, because Buddhist prayer drums "hurde" will be installed on site. In order the superior powers hear and fulfill the dream, the Buddhist drum must be turned.

Models of the republic and lake Baikal will be hovering over the exposition. It is also planned to install a helicopter cabin in which you can go on a flight to Baikal using virtual reality.

"We have been preparing for such exhibitions particularly carefully. Our region is attractive to major investors, both Russian and foreign ones", — emphasized Khalbaev.

In addition, investors will be presented with Ulan-Ude aviation plant, jade products, and they will also be told about medical tourism capabilities in Buryatia. After all, there is the Oriental Medicine Center in Ulan-Ude, the only state healthcare organization in Russia, which provides services based on the integration of modern and traditional medicine knowledge.
