Kickboxing, shooting and snow slopes: active pastimes for the whole family at the RUSSIA EXPO
There are
many interesting activities for all tastes at the regional stands. But for the
sporty family, there is a real treat here. You can go skiing and snowboarding,
shoot, play hockey and even box.
Ski track
simulator
One of the
most spectacular simulators — a ski track simulator — is presented at the stand
of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Thanks to a special moving platform and a
huge screen in front of it, you can dash down a mountain peak without leaving
the pavilion. But be prepared that it is not easy at all and will require good
physical preparation. But the sensations are inexpressible!
Snowboarding
and hockey
If you
prefer snowboarding rather than skiing, go to the Novosibirsk region’s stand.
There you can ride a board on a snowy track thanks to a realistic simulator.
You can also shoot a puck into a hockey goal and practice an uppercut on a
punching bag, which will evaluate the strength of the blow.
Kickboxing
and archery
At the
stand of Kalmykia active boys and girls, as well as their parents can practice
kickboxing on a unique simulator, which is used even by world-class athletes.
For those who prefer intellectual sports, there are chess lessons. And you can
also shoot a bow at a target: instead of arrows there will be suction cups, so
even kids can try their hand.

If you
prefer a more modern weapon, check out the shooting range at the Chechnya
exposition. Under the guidance of an instructor, you can hold a family
marksmanship competition or simply shoot with different types of weapons.
Outdoor gym
Those who
are ready to work up a serious sweat should go to the stand of the Krasnoyarsk
region, where there are several exercise devices at once: a treadmill, an
elipsis and a SUP-surfing board. And to make exercising more fun, large screens
show beautiful views of nature. So you can combine your workout with a tour of
the region’s protected areas.
