Scythian heritage and subsoil riches: Day of the Zaporozhye region at the RUSSIA EXPO
Excellent
geographical position. Mild climate, warm sea and archeological landmarks. Rich
natural resources. Powerful industrial complex. The unique opportunities and
development plan of the Zaporozhye region for the next 10 years was presented
at the RUSSIA EXPO by the Governor of the region Yevgeny Balitsky.
"By
the will of President Vladimir Putin, a tremendous, perhaps the main event in
our life took place - we became Russia. We have been heading towards it for
thirty years through suffering, humiliation, struggle. We have everything
necessary for the Zaporozhye region to be economically self-sufficient", - said Yevgeny Balitsky.
Words of support for the new region were expressed by Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Natalia Virtuozova."Today I am honored to welcome proud, strong, smart, beautiful people at the Exposition. The
Zaporozhye region has a developed industrial and energy infrastructure, strong
metallurgical and machine building complex, progressive chemical industry,
agriculture. Now the region is being modernized: enterprises are being launched
here, schools, kindergartens, hospitals, roads, bridges, public spaces are
being improved.
For the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO there is a presentation of VR-game Scythian Archer, workshops on weaving tactical bracelets, creation of Scythian bestiary and talisman necklaces of nomadic people, as well as a creative meeting with musician Akim Apachev and a dance flash mob Sirtaki.
It should be reminded that the International RUSSIA EXPO is held on the territory of VDNH in Moscow. It brings together expositions of 89 regions of Russia, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations. The exposition highlights the country's achievements, holds lectures, masterclasses, excursions and much more. It will last until April 12, 2024.
The National Centre RUSSIA informs visitors that its opening hours will be temporarily adjusted in the penultimate week of March.
On 22 March, participants of the new academic season of the "Young Tour Guide School of Russia" delivered their first guided tour for parents and guests of the National Centre RUSSIA.
