Scientific breakfast as part of the "Faces of Science" project to be held at the RUSSIA EXPO

On July 5, the International RUSSIA EXPO will host a scientific breakfast on the topic "Technological Sovereignty: Partnership between the State and Business in the Development of Science and Technology". The event is part of the "Faces of Science" exposition and will bring together representatives from the government, scientific community and major Russian companies.

Heroes of the "Faces of Science" project, including Konstantin Vernigorov, Director General of SIBUR PolyLab; Vadim Pereverzev, Chief Designer of the Unified Modular Platform project — AURUS cars; Denis Dimitrov, Head of the Sber AI Research scientific group; and others, will present their innovative developments for the first time. These include unique technologies in the fields of artificial intelligence, medicine, additive technologies, transportation and more.

Participants of the breakfast will learn firsthand about how a bioprinter for printing new organs works, how neural networks recreate historical heritage, how the President's car was created, how technologies save human lives, and how synthetic materials improve human life.

Also attending the event are Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and Secretary of the Coordination Committee of the Decade of Science and Technology Denis Sekirinsky; Deputy Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO Anastasia Zvyagina, and other representatives of the government, science and major Russian companies. They will discuss the contribution of businesses to the production of high-tech products and ensuring technological sovereignty, the development of scientific personnel and the popularization of scientific professions to attract talents to the field of science.

The event will start at 11:00 near the "Faces of Science" exposition, on the alley by Pavilion No. 19 ATOM, followed by project presentations and a discussion at the "Moscow Sky" restaurant. After the event, attendees can view the developments and interact with the project heroes in the exposition pavilions. The event will conclude with a tour of the "House of Polymers" (with prior registration).

The "Faces of Science" exposition is part of the "Science Nearby" initiative of the Decade of Science and Technology, declared by a Presidential Decree of the Russian Federation and conducted with grant support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The exposition is supported by the Roscongress Foundation and the Youth Coordination Council in the scientific and educational spheres of the Council under the President of the Russian Federation on Science and Education. The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 17 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
