"I don't know where else in the world there is something like this!" - Fetisov about the RUSSIA EXPO
The Days of
Environmental Safety have been launched at St. Petersburg stand. Its ambassador
- First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural
Resources and Environmental Protection Vyacheslav Fetisov - shared his
impressions of the exposition and noted its importance.
"I
grew up at VDNH. As a boy, I spent all my summers here. It was a place that
attracted not only adults who wanted to see the country's achievements, but
also us children. We saw these amazing accomplishments. Of course, when you
grow up with this, you want to strive to continue these achievements, to make
new discoveries," - said Vyacheslav Fetisov.
He pointed
out that the exposition allows to show the people of Russia the greatness of
the country. "These are world-famous scientists, musicians, poets, athletes
- take any field! We were the first to fly into space! I believe that we have
correctly and timely started to tell about what we have got", - said the
State Duma deputy.
"I have tremendous impressions of the Exposition. I don't know where else in the world there is something like this. I hope that I will much more here. I think the Exposition is aimed at young people. Guys, nobody is waiting for you anywhere - believe me. Today you have to be the best in your country," - Vyacheslav Fetisov concluded.
The
International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country
gathered in one place. During the whole time of the Exposition, guests are
welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and
educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal
departments, corporations and public organizations will be presented to the
visitors. The International RUSSIA EXPO will run from November 4 until April 12
at VDNH in Moscow.
The
exposition is open Tuesday through Sunday, Monday is a technical day. The most
convenient time to visit is in the morning and weekdays, but the exposition is
also open to everyone on weekends. Admission to all expositions and events is
free of charge.
On January
7 and 14, multigenre musical evenings were held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The
"Library of the Future" hall features works by science fiction
writers who were ahead of their time in many ways.
On January
14, due to numerous requests from guests, the musical evening "New Year
Windows" was held again.
