Shaman rites will be presented by Yamal at the RUSSIA EXPO
A delegation from Yamal will represent the region at the international RUSSIA EXPO.
National ensembles "Syra’sev" and "Minlei" will dance and sing in the traditions of aboriginal culture.
The colorful performance from Yamal is based on ritual and everyday scenes from the life of indigenous peoples. Guests of the exposition will be able to see shaman’s kamlanie (type of rite) and warrior initiations, learn more about the hunting cult and other traditions of indigenous peoples. The two creative groups — "Syra’sev" and "Minlei" are already actively preparing: they are recording new songs and rehearsing performances.
The region will dedicate its stand to economic dynamics. Yamal will prove that even in harsh climatic conditions it is possible to provide a comfortable life for people. The most important thing is to pay attention to the development of medicine, education and urban environment.
It will be possible to get acquainted with Yamal’s original culture and learn a lot of interesting things about other regions of our country at the International RUSSIA EXPO. The event will be held in Moscow at the VDNH from November 4, 2023 to April 12, 2024. Visitors will be greeted by a unique map of Russia, stylized as a canvas with various national patterns.
This unique project, implemented in the format of an interactive tour, invites children to embark on an unforgettable journey across the regions of the country.
On 6 January, a showing of the multi-genre performance "Morozko" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA. It was held for guests and veterans of the special military operation who participate.
