Leave an imprint on the Walk of Fame and look into the mouth of a blast furnace: how the Sverdlovsk region can surprise you
An old
factory of the famous Demidov dynasty, the Walk of Fame of the Urals, a photo
zone with the beautiful sights of Yekaterinburg, and a kinetic table showing
the region's achievements. The stand of the Sverdlovsk region has prepared a
lot of interesting things for its guests at the RUSSIA EXPO.
The stand
of the Sverdlovsk region is one of the most unusual and brutal ones. After all,
the stand is made after the famous Demidov factory, even the floor is lined
with copper brought from the Urals - it took 300 kilograms. And the main
exhibit is the mouth of the blast furnace. You can even get inside. It is safe,
but visitors will feel the heat and can even breathe in the smell of melting
metal. The spectacular design symbolizes the industrial power of the region.
Also, at
the stand you can get acquainted with the main achievements and landmark
projects of the region. An unusual gadget - a kinetic table - will help in
this. Just choose what you are interested in and touch the table, and it will
transform to demonstrate the desired object, while the more detailed
information will appear on the screen.
For
example, many guests will be interested to learn about such a truly impressive
project as "Irbit - Museum City". The fact is that there are more
than 100 objects of cultural heritage in Irbit, as well as six museums, which
include works by Durer and Rubens. Thanks to large-scale reconstruction and
construction works, Irbit may become the world's first museum city.
There is
also a photo zone at the stand, which will definitely inspire a trip to the
Sverdlovsk region. It is worth admiring the panoramic sights of the capital of
the Urals and you will definitely want to see everything live. In addition,
there are games for children at the stand, as well as an unusual interactive.
You have to put your palms to the screen with molten iron and your imprint will
get on the Urals Walk of Fame.
