Events timed to the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow at the Exposition on June 21 and 22
On June 21-22, the RUSSIA EXPO will host events dedicated to the 83rd anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
June 21
International campaign "Fire Paintings of War"
Victory Volunteers will make a picture of lamps and candles dedicated to the country's victories during the Great Patriotic War. At the appointed time, the painting will be lit by volunteers, and invited guests and concerned citizens will be able to honor the memory of fallen Heroes with a minute of silence.

June 22
All-Russian campaign "Red Carnation"
On the Day of Remembrance and Sorrow, visitors to the expositions will be able to take part in the "Red Carnation" campaign in Pavilion No. 75 and receive a commemorative badge shaped like a flower. The red carnation is a symbol of memory and help. The badge can be obtained from volunteers by making any donation to the "Memory of Generations" charity foundation. All funds raised will be used for medical care for Great Patriotic War veterans.

Concert "Kherson Region 1941-1945" by Dmitry Nesterov
Singer Dmitry Nesterov will perform together with the Central Border Ensemble of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation. Also, the pianist of the Arno Babajanyan Memorial Foundation - Ivan Boytsov - and children's vocal group "Little Notes of Arno" will take part in the concert.
The concert program will feature famous Soviet songs of the war years and compositions by Dmitry Nesterov. Musical works will be woven into the story about the defense and liberation of the Kherson region during the Great Patriotic War.
The event will be held with the support of the government of the Kherson region.

Musical and poetic composition "Requiem. Eternal Glory to Heroes"
The Day of Remembrance and Sorrow is a special date for the Russian people. In honor of the great generation of victors who sacrificed the most precious thing - their lives - for the sake of victory, the Far Eastern Academic Symphony Orchestra will perform "Requiem" by composer Kuzma Bodrov to lyrics by Robert Rozhdestvensky. This heroic and lyrical work about war is a kind of spiritual testament to the generations to come, urging to remember the fallen heroes and protect the world.

The key to the future is a strong memory of the past. On the 83rd anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the melodies of those years will be played in the space of the Hero City of Moscow.

Play "Don't Part with Your Loved Ones"
The play "Don't Part with Your Loved Ones" performed by the musical-drama theater "Wings" is dedicated to the highest feelings that helped people to survive and win the Great Patriotic War: faith, hope and love.
It is based on the play "Chamomile and Lily of the Valley" by the famous Georgian playwright Nika Kvizhinadze. The human tragedy will sound even more vividly and accurately in the play thanks to music, songs, plastic solutions, use of documentary chronicles. The spectator will be able to see the story of true love, over which neither time, nor death, nor war have no power.
Olga Kobetskaya's original directorial idea allows to see the war through the prism of true love, brought through all five years of the Great Patriotic Tragedy.

Reading of "Diaries of the Scientific Front"
The play is based on the diary entries scientists made during the war. Researchers, engineers, designers made every effort to save as many lives as possible, to preserve the territorial integrity and unique assets of the country. The production is based on the memoirs of the scientists.

"The Fate of a Man. The First Spring" play
Performance of the play "The Fate of a Man. The First Spring" based on the famous story by Mikhail Sholokhov, which was prepared by ANO "Centre for Creative Industries "New City" and folk theater "New City" with the support of the Presidential Fund for Cultural Initiatives and with the participation of modern dance studio "Flash Dance" and Russian chamber orchestra "Usadba" (lit. "Estate"). During the preparation of the project, more than 50 first-hand stories from resettlers and participants of the SMO and the Great Patriotic War were collected, which formed the narrative of the performance.

New interesting events for the whole family every day! On July 2, the International RUSSIA EXPO will host sports, musical and educational events, as well as meetings with interesting people.
The grand closing ceremony of the International RUSSIA EXPO will take place on July 6.
This week, from July 2 to 7, Pavilion No. 48 will offer visitors mushrooms and berries from the pristine areas of Siberia, wild fish from Kamchatka, Yakutia and the Black Sea, as well as Adyghe cheeses and meat products.
