The head of state took down several cards with children's New Year wishes from the New Year Tree of Wishes set up at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

Among them was a dream of a girl from St. Petersburg to try herself as a news presenter. Another child wished to go to Baikal, and a third kid wished to visit the Hermitage.

The All-Russian campaign The New Year Tree of Wishes has been held since 2018. Its goal is to give joy and a feeling of New Year magic to children in difficult life situations. For five years, more than 40 thousand people who cared about the event have fulfilled more than 100 thousand children's wishes. Vladimir Putin joins the campaign every year.
