Two loving couples from the South Urals sealed their marriage on the day of the 90th anniversary of the Chelyabinsk region at the RUSSIA EXPO
On January 17, the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Chelyabinsk region, the guests of the International RUSSIA EXPO witnessed the creation of two new families at once - a solemn marriage ceremony was held at the exposition for young people who were born and raised in the South Urals land. The grooms are active participants of the special military operation and have combat awards.
The solemn marriage ceremony The Motherland is a Family was opened by soloists of the vocal ensemble of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chelyabinsk region. Then, in the format of a photo collage made up of childhood and youth photos of the newlyweds, the guests of the ceremony saw on the screen a mini story about how the newlyweds with a true Ural character lived, studied, dreamed, and then met each other.
Tatiana and Yegor are originally from the city of Miass. In 2021 Yegor was called up for compulsory military service, then he signed a contract, and in 2022 he got to military exercises in the city of Klintsy, after which he was sent to the combat zone. In 2023 Yegor was awarded the medal For Military Valor.
Daria and Alexei are from the town of Chebarkul. Alexei graduated from the Ulyanovsk Higher Military School of Communications, and then, having signed a contract, went to the zone of special military operation. He was awarded the Zhukov Medal, as well as medals For Military Valor, For Distinction in Military Service and For Participation in Combat Operations.
After the solemn official registration of the marriage, the newlyweds performed their first family dance to the sounds of Viennese waltz together with soloists of the ballroom dance ensemble of the sports club Victoria. And the ceremony ended with a traditional "hunt" of unmarried girls for wedding bouquets, and, of course, a memorable photo session.
Among the honored guests at the wedding ceremony was Deputy Commander of the Motorized Rifle Battalion of the 80th Tank Regiment, Guards Major Vitaly Antonov, who was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation with the awarding of the medal Gold Star for courage and heroism in carrying out his military duty. He personally handed the newlyweds their first family documents - marriage certificates.
"It is a huge honor to congratulate you on the creation of a family. I wish you love, fidelity, mutual understanding, respect, and, of course, a peaceful sky. Alexei, Yegor, you honorably perform your military duty in the zone of special military operation. Take care and love your women! Tatiana, Daria, you be a reliable rear guard for your husbands-defenders!" — Vitaly Antonov addressed the newlyweds.
The couples were personally congratulated by the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Chelyabinsk region Oleg Gerber.
"I am sincerely glad to be here with you and share your holiday - the birthday of your families, and moreover on the birthday of the Chelyabinsk region, and moreover at the RUSSIA EXPO. This is simply a phenomenal event! Guys, you protect us all in the special operation zone, but now I am sure that your family hearth is also under the reliable protection of your beautiful wives. I want to wish you warmth and comfort at home, respecting your parents and ringing laughter of children as much as possible", —said Oleg Gerber.
Deputy Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Anastasia Zvyagina joined in the congratulations.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the entire period of the exposition, guests will be welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The exposition will run at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 until April 12.
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Tomorrow, the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests.
Every day, for eight months, the RUSSIA EXPO delighted guests and gave unforgettable emotions.
