The discussion "Climate of the Future: Trends and Technological Opportunities" and the interactive event "Speak like Matusovsky" — all this is featured in the upcoming week's digest.

As part of the preparations for the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future," the National Centre RUSSIA has launched a series of discussions where science meets futurology, and bold forecasts intersect with real technological achievements.

On July 17 at 19:00, the third meeting in the series "Climate of the Future: Trends and Technological Opportunities" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA as part of the project "Dialogues about the Future with Valery Fedorov."

The moderator of the meeting will be Valery Fedorov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Mass Communications at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Director General of the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM).

Leading experts will take part in the discussion: futurist and co-founder of the venture fund Orbita Capital Partners, representative of Singularity University Yevgeny Kuznetsov, and Executive Director of the Scientific and Technical Centre for Environmental Monitoring and Ecology at MIPT Alexander Rodin.

The event is free to attend, but registration is required on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA.

The project "Dialogues about the Future with Valery Fedorov" is implemented by the National Centre RUSSIA in cooperation with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and VCIOM.

The main idea of the project echoes one of the core messages of the II International Symposium "Inventing the Future": to bring together the world's leading minds to co-design positive future scenarios through the synergy of science, technology, culture and science fiction.

On July 20 at 14:00, the National Centre RUSSIA will host the interactive event "Speak like Matusovsky" as part of the series "Masterpieces. The Best of Russia." It will be a theatrical experience where classics blend with modernity, and each moment is filled with inspiration.

Matusovsky’s poetic legacy is extensive. He collaborated with various composers and authored the lyrics to such well-known songs as "Moscow Windows," "Moscow Evenings," "Where the Motherland Begins," "True Friends," and "School Waltz."

The event will begin with a theatrical lecture immersing guests in the poet's world, evoking the atmosphere of his time and revealing his influence on Russian literature and theatre.

This will be followed by a workshop on public speaking, where participants will learn to speak beautifully and confidently, place emphasis correctly, and add expression to their delivery.

The programme will conclude with a secret flash mob. An interactive surprise has been prepared for guests, promising unforgettable emotions and serving as the highlight of the evening.

You can register for the event on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA. Current information about events taking place after July 20 can be found in the "Events" section.
