Exposition "Legacy for the Future"
The exposition "Legacy for the Future" is a large-scale project by the National Centre RUSSIA, which has become a significant cultural event and an example of international cooperation. In three months, the exposition attracted the attention of over 110,000 people and concluded on a high note. The exposition brought together young artists from six countries: Russia, China, India, Brazil, Ethiopia, and Iran.
Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Sergei Pershin highlighted the importance of the exposition for cultural exchange and international dialogue. Curator Semyon Mikhailovsky emphasized how similar the artists' ideas turned out to be despite their different cultural backgrounds.
The central piece of the exposition was a scaled-down replica of the sculpture "The Son of the Earth" by Dong Shubing — a symbol of hope and the connection between generations. A catalog remains as a lasting memory of the project, preserving the spirit of the exposition and inspiring others.
