"We are the Far East" exposition was opened at the International RUSSIA EXPO

11 Far Eastern regions, the Russian Ministry for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation (FEDC) presented a unified exposition "We are the Far East" at the International RUSSIA EXPO. Yury Trutnev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Russia in the Far Eastern Federal District, Alexei Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, and representatives of the Far Eastern regions took part in the opening of the venue.

"The wonderful RUSSIA EXPO dedicated to our great and great country was opened today. With the exposition "We are the Far East" the regions of the Far East tried to show the features of their territories, landmarks, economic potential - how investment projects are being implemented. I believe that the Far Eastern part of the exposition was a success. But the most important thing is not just economic indicators and natural beauty, but the people who live, study and work in the Far East. Visitors can learn about people from the Far East, hear their stories. This is really pride for our country, for our Far East", - said Yury Trutnev.

"The RUSSIA EXPO gives a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the regions of the Far East and the Arctic, to take a tour of the most amazing territories of our huge country. I am sure that many people will want to return to VDNH more than once, but the most important thing is to visit the Far East and discover new places for traveling. In the next six months, once a month we will give this opportunity to the winners of the Far East quest, which started today at the unified exposition "We are the Far East" and will be held daily", - said Alexei Chekunkov.

The exposition is focused on people who live, study and work in the Far East. Visitors are greeted by participants of the multimedia exposition "People of the Far East" - employees of new enterprises, athletes, bloggers. A crab navigator at the registration desk will tell you how to complete the "Far East quest" dedicated to the history, present and future of the region.

Visitors are accompanied by virtual guides: with the help of a special portal you can choose a trajectory of movement, follow thematic routes "To Travel", "To Study", "To Work", "To Live". Achievements in the economic and social sector, significant industrial and infrastructure projects, promising professions, educational programs are presented.

At the exposition one can take a flight over the Far East, take part in the light-projection immersive show "The Way of the Pioneers", walk along a protected trail accompanied by digital tigers and bears, find a suitable profession or an interesting attraction with the help of interactive mirror screens, try one's hand at conquering mountain peaks on a real rock-climbing wall.

The unified exposition is equipped with a multimedia stage platform "Far Eastern Panorama". Between talk shows, lectures and presentations it turns into a panoramic viewing platform, immersing visitors in the world of Far Eastern nature.
