On March 29, the RUSSIA EXPO invites you to take part in a
diverse program of events. Guests can expect lectures, masterclasses,
presentations and cultural events.
Cartoon Science International Festival of Scientific
Cartoons
The festival program includes the best educational cartoons
from famous international projects and leading Russian studios. The audience
will not only see festival works devoted to different sciences - from physics
to philosophy, but also meet long-loved characters from "Fixies",
"Kikoriki" ("Smeshariki") and "Umka". The program
also includes a collection of rare cartoons from the animation historian Georgy
Borodin — "Animation Futurology: Look from the USSR".
Today, visitors can expect masterclasses in the
"Animation Laboratory" and tours of the interactive exposition
"The Science of Animation: from Wooden TV to Augmented Reality", as
well as a VR-cinema.

Festival of Professions
Today guests will be introduced to the educational programs
of Orenburg region institutions, career counselors will hold career guidance
masterclasses ("Copper Fantasies", "Coke Chemist",
"Alchemist", "Assemble a Furnaceman"), workshop "The
Route is Built" and presentation "Foundry Workshop of Magic".
There will also be a presentation of educational programs of
the Russian State University of National Economy of the Ministry of Agriculture
of the Russian Federation and a presentation "Kuzbass Trains for
Professions of Transport Industry and Metallurgy".

Workshop on restoration "Moscow Buildings in the
Future"
Restoration artist Viktoria Yakovleva will help to visualize
objects of Moscow's future cultural heritage. Having chosen their own style and
color scheme, the participants of the workshop will create on paper the
capital's buildings as they will look like many, many years from now.

Meeting with an expert on the subject "Digital Teacher:
Myth or Reality?"
What happens when technology and education meet? Educational quizzes, visual presentations,
lessons in the "cloud", accessibility in messengers, online
broadcasts, and distance learning are already commonplace for Moscow
schoolchildren. However, there is no limit to perfection, because technology
opens up huge opportunities in education. Galina Polyakova, curator of the
All-Russian Community of Mentor-Educators in Moscow, teacher of physics, astronomy
and natural science, will talk about the advantages of educational
digitalization and the role of artificial intelligence in the modern
educational process.

Performance of the play about a potter
"Kukushoida" within the framework of the "Voices of the
Country" project
The hero of the production "Kukushoida" is Nikolai
Podrezov from the village of Gorbunki. Podrezov has been awarded the title of
People's Master of the Russian Federation and the "Soul of Russia"
award for his contribution to the development of folk art. Nikolai works in the
House of Folk Art of the Leningrad region and is engaged in the restoration and
preservation of traditional Izhora ceramics (Izhora is a small Finno-Ugric
people of the Leningrad region). The main role in the production will be played
by actor Vladislav Tiron.

Exposition "My Heart is Full of Pity" dedicated to
the anniversary of Alexei German will allow you to see the
"underside" of the world, which the director built together with the
crew of the film "Hard to be a God". Exposition "Our People. The
Universe of Leonid Gaidai's Characters" is conceived and realized as a
tour into the world of Gaidai's heroes. It consists of several sections, each telling
about "types" — characters of the same type and social affiliation,
who took different guises from film to film, but invariably demonstrate their
true essence, characteristic of Gaidai's cinematography.
The Museum of Cinema also offers to visit the
"Labyrinth of History" exposition, the "Handyman"
exposition, the memorial "Sergei Eisenstein's Study", the exposition "Oleg Yankovsky. In Dream and in Reality", dedicated to the actor’s
anniversary, and other bright exhibits related to the history of the national
cinematography.
Exposition "Between Light and Darkness" was opened
on the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi
blockade. The exposition highlights a number of film works that analyze the
deep trauma of the whole city and demonstrate that the spark of life, faith,
courage and fortitude help to preserve the human face even in inhuman
conditions.

Farmers Fair
Each region has its own special flavor! Guests of the RUSSIA
EXPO are invited to get acquainted with the gastronomic culture of small
villages and big cities of our country at the Farmers Fair. Here you can taste
and buy an incredible variety of cheeses and dairy products, sausages and
smoked meat delicacies, berry drinks, juices, lemonades, fruit purees and jams,
raw oils, freshly baked bread and gingerbread.

which departs from Pavilion No. 75, as well as from the "Northern
Loop" stop at the arch of the Main Entrance to VDNH. Pavilion No. 48 is
within walking distance from the "City Farm" stop.
The International RUSSIA EXPO announced the beginning of the campaign "Belgorod, Our Hearts are with You" and fundraising for residents affected by shelling. Today the residents of Belgorod region show fortitude and courageously resist all attempts to disturb the peace and tranquility.
On Monday, May 13, a lot of interesting and exciting events are waiting for guests in Pavilion No. 75, as well as on the Main Street Stage and the territory of VDNH.
