Party at a wedding, go on a quest and dance "Yablochko": a bright start to the week at the RUSSIA EXPO
On Monday, May 13, a lot of interesting
and exciting events are waiting for guests in Pavilion No. 75, as well as on
the Main Street Stage and the territory of VDNH. Come with the whole family to
take part in a dance flash mob, contests and quests, as well as to see the
wedding traditions of different peoples of our country.
EXPOSITION "NEW YEAR TREE. WEDDING. GROVE" 0+
Ethnographic Museum of Yukhnovgrad
presents a collection of wedding costumes of Khvastovichi district of the late
XIX-early XX century - 4 festive outfits in full assembly: from hairstyle, "kosinka"
(prototype of veil) to "painted" bast shoes, as well as wedding
attributes that have survived to this day. Most of the items are being shown to
the public for the first time.

Young people will be escorted by circus
artists, gypsy ensemble and animators. The festive procession will proceed to
the Main Street Stage, where a solemn marriage ceremony of couples from the Far
Eastern Federal District will take place and the fire of the All-Russian Family
Hearth will be transferred.

QUEST "JOURNEY ALONG THE SILVER NECKLACE OF RUSSIA" 6+
With the help of virtual tasks,
participants will be able to get acquainted with the regions of the North-West
Federal District. First, the participants should get a tourist passport at any
of the 11 stands of the North-West Federal District, then it is necessary to
scan a QR code and go to the site to start the quest, register and start
performing the tasks. Those who will pass the quest to the end will get a
souvenir.

In honor of the All-Russian Wedding
Festival at the RUSSIA EXPO, a Thematic Wedding Quiz with questions about
family traditions and wedding rituals, as well as other interesting facts
awaits guests. The winners will receive prizes, and all participants will have
a good time and learn a lot of new things.
Pavilion No. 75, May 12, 11:00 - 20:00
The Main Street Stage will feature a
concert with the participation of creative groups. The audience will be
introduced to dances, songs and wedding rituals of the regions of the Far
Eastern Federal District. Chukotka Autonomous Area will delight visitors to the
Exposition with musical numbers by Chukchi artist Burmag "I'll Take You to
the Tundra" and "Say, Girls, to Your Girlfriend", and the
Primorye region will present dances with fans. Artists of the Zabaykalsky
region will present folk wedding songs to the audience. The Khabarovsk region
will present dance numbers, including "Dance with Tambourines", and
the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) will hold a wedding rite of dressing the bride
and the rite of blessing - Algys.

Everyone will be able to take part in the
dance flash mob "Yablochko" (lit. "Apple") and dance the
famous dance. The flash mob is dedicated to the Day of the Black Sea Fleet, a
holiday annually celebrated on May 13 in honor of the creation of the Black Sea
Fleet of the Russian Navy.

The integration of special military operation veterans into peaceful life and the interaction between regions and municipalities were discussed as part of the Forum "SMALL HOMELAND – THE STRENGTH OF RUSSIA".
