Take a flight with Gagarin and ride on swings over glacial lakes — New Year’s Eve week at the RUSSIA EXPO

There is only a week left until New Year. Bright events are held every day at the RUSSIA EXPO — Days of Regions, masterclasses, tastings, parties.

The Smolensk region invites you to visit its fortress and see the sacred relics — the Smolensk icon of the Mother of God, the sandals of the patron saint of the city — the warrior Mercury. Visitors will be able to excavate in the improvised Gnezdov barrow, master the linen spinning wheel, go on a virtual flight with the first cosmonaut of the Planet Yuri Gagarin, rock on swings over glacial lakes in VR-glasses, protect the "Vampires of the Middle Strip" — the heroes of the famous TV series, which was filmed in Smolensk — in laser tag shooting range.

You can travel around the Tula region and take colorful photos on the multimedia 3D screens of the Tula region stand. The multimedia complex "Weapons Encyclopedia" and "Interactive Game Zone" will introduce you to the samples of military equipment of the present and future. And in a small recording studio, which is located inside the stand, you can record your own video clip.

You can find yourself in Ded Moroz’s house at the stand of the Vologda region. Here a copy of the front of his house in Veliky Ustyug has been created — with illuminated windows and facade garlands. You can make magical New Year’s photos with the chief winter wizard and take part in contests.

December 28 from 10:00 to 21:00, Pavilion No. 75

On the eve of the New Year, a real winter fairy tale awaits visitors to the Exposition: the "Nutcracker" ice show staged by Ilya Averbukh. The show is designed for both children and adults — the whole family can come. Figure skating stars will take part in the performance.

And on New Year’s night at the RUSSIA EXPO you can celebrate the New Year 11 times — according to the number of time zones — and make 11 wishes that are sure to come true. Every hour Ded Moroz with gifts will appear near the main New Year tree of the exposition and wish a Happy New Year to each time zone of the RUSSIA EXPO. There will also be a quest with prizes.

Stars will perform for the guests: Gluk’oZa, NILETTO, Maksim, Yulia Parshuta, PIZZA, Diskoteka Avariya, RASA, Orlov Band and others.
