The National Centre RUSSIA in the Ryazan Region marks its first month
On 5 November, the branch of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Ryazan Region is reviewing its first month of operation. It welcomed more than 37,500 visitors in total, including over 8,200 visitors to its exposition spaces.
The permanent exposition "Soul of Ryazan — Heart of Russia" became the main visitor route. It hosted 445 guided tours and welcomed a total of 6,303 visitors. Visitors explored the history and cultural legacy of the Ryazan Region, discovering the defining images and ideas behind its distinctive identity.
The exposition of works by artist Viktor Ivanov, "Only What Touches the Heart", hosted 125 guided tours attended by 1,935 people. Visitors viewed paintings depicting the landscapes of the Ryazan Region. Through images of nature, the artist conveyed his understanding of Russia and the Russian people, their dignity, strength, memory and inseparable connection to their native land.
Throughout the month, the branch hosted events and saw new projects take shape: the "Young Tour Guides School" opened, and "School 21", a project run by the branch's general partner, Sber, was launched. The "Yesenin" and "Dobrynya" halls hosted around ten major cultural events, themed events and forums. Through these events, the branch became a place for dialogue between generations, bringing different audiences together and introducing them to the cultural legacy of the Ryazan Region.
The regional rally brought together more than 160 young people, mentors and local headquarters leaders. It opened at the National Centre RUSSIA in Yugra in the year marking the Yunarmiya movement's tenth anniversary.
The meeting, titled "Building Greater Eurasia", was part of the "Motherland Is Service" series and was held within the All-Russian project "What Does the Motherland Begin With?".
