Registration opens for the music and dance parable "Khorovod. The Energy of Unity"
Registration is now open for the music and dance parable "Khorovod (round dance). The Energy of Unity". The event will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA on 10, 11 and 12 November. The programme will bring together creative ensembles from different regions of the country and mark the culmination of the "Khorovod" series of events held at the National Centre RUSSIA throughout 2026, which was declared the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Registration on the russia.ru website is required to attend. Applications can be submitted in the "Events" section.
The parable's artistic concept centres on one of the most profound and expressive symbols of unity among peoples — the khorovod, where no one takes precedence and everyone becomes part of a shared movement. Through music and dance, the performers will explore Russia's cultural diversity, respect for traditions and the connection between generations.
The programme will combine folk choreography, ethnic music, traditional costumes and contemporary staging. Original productions created by the National Centre RUSSIA will form its thematic core, celebrating unity, continuity between generations and love for the Motherland.
Some of the brightest jewels in Russia's mosaic of dance will share the stage: the "Gzhel" Moscow State Academic Dance Theatre, the "Kostroma" National Ballet and the ensembles "Donbass", "Alan", "Kantele" and "Lezginka". They will be joined by the S. A. Zverev — Kyyl Uola National Dance Theatre and the "Dobun" ethnic folklore ensemble from Yakutia, the "Steppe Melodies" ensemble from the Irkutsk Region, the "Far East" ensemble from Khabarovsk and the Atesh Crimean Tatar Dance Ensemble from Simferopol.
The parable will also feature the "YAR" Moscow Song Theatre, the "Domisolka" Children's Musical Theatre, the ART FORCE dance studio, the "Globalis" Symphony Orchestra and the "Vertograd" Folk Instrument Orchestra. The programme will include performances by Bolshoi Theatre guest soloist Ildar Gainutdinov, world beatboxing champion Vakhtang, master of throat singing Anastasia Bobrovka and PLUTTO, a group promoting Cossack culture. The production will conclude with a shared pereplyas dance, bringing all the performers together on stage in a single khorovod.
On 10 and 11 November, guests can arrive from 18:00, with the programme beginning at 19:00. On 12 November, guests can arrive from 17:00, with the programme beginning at 18:00.
