Try on a floral dress and plunge into the fragrance of roses: bright photo zones on the way to the flowerbeds-expositions of the regions
The
large-scale festival "Future in Flowers" continues at the
International RUSSIA EXPO. Its main pride is perhaps 89 flowerbeds of all
regions of the country. You should definitely visit the exposition, and on the
way you can have a real photo session thanks to incredible floral art objects.
Start your
journey from the main pavilion of the RUSSIA EXPO No. 75, where expositions of
all the regions of Russia are presented. A huge dress made of pink buds is
installed there in honor of the festival, everyone can try it on and be photographed
in this fantastic outfit.
From the
pavilion we move towards the famous Friendship of Peoples fountain. It is an
impressive art object in itself, drowning in lilac flowers, and near it there
are flower arbors, flowerbeds and expositions, which were presented for the
festival by departments and state corporations of Russia. One of the most
interesting objects is a flower cube, inside which you can take pictures.
From the
Friendship of Peoples fountain you should go deeper into the park, pass by the
Gazprom Pavilion and the Stone Flower fountain. By the way, the fish market is
temporarily operating near it, it will still be open on Sunday, June 2. There
you can not only buy fish and seafood, but also taste sea delicacies in the
restaurant. The market is decorated with floral lighthouses — another good
object for a themed photo shoot.
From the
fish market it's a short walk to the floral expositions of the regions. We move
towards Pavilion No. 57 "Science and Education". Passing by it, you
will get to the "Future in Flowers" workshop, where the best
achievements of Russian breeders are presented: hundreds of varieties of
peonies, lilacs, irises, dahlias and other plants of Russia. But the main
characters are, of course, roses, incredibly fragrant and beautiful, in all
colors and shades. First, enjoy their fragrance, and then make selfies with
your favorite luxurious bouquet to make everyone envious.
And on the
way out of the workshop, on the platform near the "Space" pavilion, a
huge circular flowerbed awaits the guests, where each region presented its
unique floral exposition, supplemented with characteristic regional elements.
For example, the luxurious golden fountain "Samson Tearing the Lion's
Mouth" and the terrace of Peterhof decorate the flowerbed of St.
Petersburg, a giant bee can be seen in the flowerbed of Bashkortostan, because
the republic is famous for its honey, it is even sent into space. The flowerbed
of the Chelyabinsk region is made like the embankment of the capital of the
region with its famous Ferris wheel.
Floral
expositions of the regions not only please the eye and inspire photos, but also
help to take a new look at the regions and learn a lot of interesting things
about each of them.
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also coming to an end.
