Beauty, harmony and inspiration: why you should see the regional flowerbeds at the "Future in Flowers" Festival
Along with the RUSSIA EXPO, the flower festival is also
coming to an end. But until July 8, you can still see the floral art objects
and flowerbed expositions from various regions. They are located around the
Vostok rocket near the "Space" pavilion.
Many regions have chosen to highlight the beauty of their
area. The flowerbed of the Zabaykalsky region offers a view
of mountain sunsets and showcases the region's wildflowers.
The floral composition of the Komi Republic tells visitors about
the largest national park in the Northern and Polar Urals, "Yugyd
Va", which means "light water" in the Komi-Zyryan language. At
the centre, you can see replicas of relict lakes from the glacial period. The
water in the rocky-bottomed pond is clean and transparent, reflecting spruces
and pines, roses, and raspberries like a mirror.
Some regions have chosen to highlight important themes such
as healthcare. For example, the flower bed of the Penza region is
designed in the shape of a heart adorned with an acrylic cardiogram. The flowerbed Expo of the Altai Republic is
dedicated to Altai medicine. This is one of the main and respected practices of
the indigenous population, with knowledge passed down from generation to
generation.
The Chukotka Autonomous Area decided that the main element of its flowerbed would be an Eskimo ball. On one
hand, it is a traditional symbol of the sun for the local peoples, and on the
other, it represents the modern successes of the nuclear industry. The Rostov region also stands out with a bright and colorful flowerbed. The central part of the
composition is the art object "Father-Don", surrounded by floral
compositions representing nature and the steppes on one side and agriculture on
the other.
The "Future in Flowers" festival continues at the RUSSIA EXPO, where unique flowerbeds from all regions of our country can be seen at the "Space" pavilion until July 8.
The RUSSIA EXPO concludes on July 8, and with it, the flower festival will also come to an end.
