Almost every piece is decorated with a large and eye-catching logo - the YUG team compares it to the propaganda inscriptions on Soviet posters. The predominant colours of the collection are lush green and poisonous pink.
DONGAK (Kyzyl)
DONGAK is an ethnic style clothing brand reflecting the national flavor, originality and greatness of the Republic of Tuva. The designer of the brand and ballet master Vyacheslav Dongak brought a new vision to traditional costumes. During the fashion presentation, a real show in the Tuvan style unfolded on the catwalk. Clothing models were demonstrated by participants of the "Edygei" creative team. The designer's sewing workshop emerged directly on the basis of this dance association 30 years ago.
RASENA (Perm)
RASENA, a clothing brand from Perm, held a show on the catwalk. Its peculiarity is the combination of Slavic cultural codes with modern trends. The RASENA team adheres to the principles of sustainable fashion. "Integrating national codes in a utilitarian and inspirational way is completely natural," says the brand's designer Yulia Suntseva. Mini length skirts and shorts dominate the collection.
Lamontee_Ell (Ulyanovsk)
The brand Lamontee_Ell from Ulyanovsk presented a women's collection of clothing and accessories "In Love with Life". This is a collaboration of designer Elvira Semenova with famous Russian artists: Nikas Safronov (Moscow) and Vladimir Rumyantsev (St. Petersburg). Their works are opposite in style and genre, but united by the idea of boundless love for life, art and irony. Corsets, jackets, shirts, bombers, T-shirts, bags and scarves with unique prints of paintings by famous artists became living works of art.
MIRBA (Kirov)
The conceptual clothing brand MIRBA from Kirov relied on the choice of materials and aesthetics of punk culture. The capsule collection Pattern contains the brightest things for bold men and women. With the help of customization, the pieces are one-of-a-kind and emphasise the individuality of the person who chooses them.
Tatiana Sulimina (Voronezh)
The new collection "Texture of Being" was presented by designer Tatiana Sulimina from Voronezh. She developed an author's beige and black print inspired by female Paleolithic statuettes found at the Kostyonki sites in the Voronezh region. Alternating this print with bright red, graphite and black, the designer offered a women's businesswear collection with three-piece suits and silhouette overalls. The looks were complemented with original voluminous berets and yellow sunglasses. Tatiana Sulimina used patchwork technique and combined different textures.
SO Love (Kazan)
Kazan brand SO Love showed a story of spring awakening and transformation on the catwalk with its "Colorful Breath" collection. The brand presented a collection of crocheted knitwear united by colors: milky, blue, deep green, pink. The collection also reflected experiments with shape and texture, such as a silhouetted jacquard trouser suit, a cardigan with voluminous buff sleeves or a transparent maxi dress with hand-knitted roses. Lively flowers, sequins, hairstyles and make-up completed the images of ancient Greek nymphs, goddesses of nature, bringing inspiration and life itself.
