"Connecting Thread of Eras": the National Centre RUSSIA invites you to a new excursion program

"Connecting Thread of Eras": the National Centre RUSSIA invites you to a new excursion program
01.14.2025

Starting from January 15, visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA will be able to enjoy an exciting walking route, "Connecting Thread of Eras," which runs along the Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment.

The one-and-a-half-hour excursion delves into the rich history of the district, where the memory of historical events from different years, the rich cultural traditions, and the vibrant business life of the city and the entire country are closely intertwined.

Participants in this fascinating walk will learn how the appearance of the embankment has changed over the centuries and what landmark events took place here. They will hear stories about outstanding individuals who left their mark on the history of the embankment and get acquainted with architectural masterpieces that shape the unique appearance of one of the iconic places in the center of the capital.

The route starts from the Bagration merchant and pedestrian bridge and runs along the Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment with views of such landmarks as Moscow City, the International Trade Centre, the Government House, the Ukraina Hotel, the Krasnaya Presnya Park, and, of course, the National Centre RUSSIA, where the tour will conclude.

At the end of the walking tour, all interested guests will be able to visit the National Centre, where guides will introduce them to the exposition. The tours are free of charge and start every 15 minutes from the main information desk.

The duration of the "Connecting Thread of Eras" tour is up to 90 minutes. The total walking distance is 1.5 kilometers. The tour starts at 11 in the morning. The meeting point is the ground-level vestibule of the Delovoy Tsentr metro station (Bagration Bridge). The group will gather at the "Tree of Life" — a sculptural composition located in the vestibule of the bridge. For the Filievskaya (4a) and Solntsevskaya (8a) metro lines, use the metro station No. 5. A guide holding a sign that reads "Excursions. National Centre RUSSIA" will be waiting for you.

You can register for the excursion on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA. The tours will run from January 15 to March 2.
