Competition between technological and social entrepreneurs took place at the RUSSIA EXPO
A case-battle "The Course to Modernization: Social
Entrepreneurship and Technological Entrepreneurship" was held in the Home
of Youth on the platform of social initiatives #BusinessWeAreTogether from
Rosmolodezh.Business. Representatives of the two directions tried to convey to
experts and spectators why their direction is stronger and more promising, and
at the end of each "round" spectators and participants of the battle
heard what the jury thought about it.
"Technologists" were represented by the founder of
the federal network Hydroservice LLC Igor Sukhov; an expert on venture capital
investment, startups and the Latin American market, co-founder of the
IT-company 2A Andrei Kochkin; and the CEO of Avibiru LLC Ivan Shumilov; while
the "socials" were represented by an individual entrepreneur, owner
of furniture salon VALERIE, development director of design bureau K-Project
Valeria Kotova; co-founder of the project Processing Workshop Alexei Kokovkin;
and co-founder and development director of the company CCOVER Dmitry
Skornyakov.
The participants of the battle talked about how their
business is organized, shared their experience of success, discussed the
prospects of promotion and ways of interaction with the "opposite"
direction of entrepreneurship.
The effectiveness of the "Technological
Entrepreneurship" and "Social Entrepreneurship" teams in terms
of benefit to society was assessed by Mikhail Slobodinsky, Managing Partner of
the TenChat business social network; Anton Kukanov, Deputy Head of Roskachevo;
Oleg Churilov, Director of the Department for the Development of Technological
Entrepreneurship and Technology Transfer of the Ministry of Science and Higher
Education of the Russian Federation; and Sergei Golubev, Director General of
the Social Investment Fund, member of the Management Board and Chairman of the
Commission for Social Entrepreneurship of the "Opora Russia".
Nikita Prokhorov, author of three best-selling books and
owner of large businesses, was the host and chief "arbiter" of the
event.
"I would say that the winner today is a citizen of the
Russian Federation, who receives a fundamentally new quality of service from
both social and technological points of view. Because by combining these two
stories, new services and utilities emerge that significantly improve the
quality of life," commented Sergei Golubev on the results of the business
competition.
The experts unanimously agreed that both social and
technological entrepreneurship are areas of equal priority, and in their
development they should move "hand in hand".
"I sincerely believe that in the future these two
directions, beautiful in themselves, in any case will be integrated, and in any
case there will be various ways for their merger and symbiosis. Therefore, in a
sense, today two teams have become one, and it is amazing," concluded
Nikita Prokhorov.
The platform of social initiatives #BusinessWeAreTogether in
the Home of Youth is organized by the Rosmolodezh.Business track within the
framework of the forum of social entrepreneurship "More than
Business". Representatives of city and federal agencies, small and
medium-sized businesses, large companies, development institutions and
non-profit organizations took part in the events at VDNH on June 27 and 28.
There were open dialogues, presentations of the best cases in the field of
social and technological entrepreneurship, technology Exposition and other
events.
The Forum was organized by the Department of
Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow, the Ministry of Economic
Development of the Russian Federation and the Social Projects Support Fund.
The first event to be held at the Russia National Centre, which is being established by the order of President Vladimir Putin, will be the International Science Fiction Symposium and Exhibition "Inventing the Future". The symposium will take place from November 4 to 6.
Tomorrow, the International RUSSIA EXPO will conclude its work. From November 2023 to July 2024, it was visited by more than 18 million guests.
Every day, for eight months, the RUSSIA EXPO delighted guests and gave unforgettable emotions.
