As part of
the preparations for the II International Symposium "Inventing the
Future," the National Centre RUSSIA has launched a series of discussions
where science meets futurology, and bold predictions are paired with real
technological achievements.
On July 17
at 19:00, the third meeting titled "The Climate of the Future: Trends and
Technological Opportunities" will take place at the National Centre RUSSIA
as part of the project "Dialogues about the Future with Valery

and climate.
The event is free to attend, with prior registration required on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA.The project "Dialogues about the Future with Valery Fedorov" is implemented by the National Centre RUSSIA in cooperation with the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and VCIOM.
The main idea
of the project echoes one of the key messages of the II International Symposium
"Inventing the Future" — to bring together the world’s leading minds
to jointly design positive future scenarios through the synergy of science,
technology, culture, and science fiction.
At the
previous discussion, experts explored the future of medicine, the potential and
limits of implementing future technologies in healthcare, and the social and
ethical aspects of new approaches to treating various diseases. The first meeting
focused on how science fiction literature influences public expectations of
technology and stimulates scientific and technological initiatives.
