Always the first: the exposition of the Synchronized Swimming Federation was opened at the RUSSIA EXPO
The
exposition of the Synchronized Swimming Federation has opened in Pavilion C,
where the Ministry of Sport of the country is represented. Here you can get
acquainted with the history of synchronized swimming and see the awards won by
athletes.
"The
Exposition showcases the country's most important achievements - and Russian
synchronized swimming is one of them. Undoubtedly, we are proud of our
outstanding coaches and athletes, who for many years have not known defeat on
the international stage. They have made a huge contribution to the authority of
our country, so we can be proud of them," said Olga Brusnikina, President
of the Synchronized Swimming Federation, three-time Olympic synchronized
swimming champion.
The interest in Synchronized Swimming Day at the RUSSIA EXPO demonstrates that people care about what is happening in this sport now, emphasized Tatyana Pokrovskaya, head coach of the Russian national synchronized swimming team. Under her guidance, the athletes won all the gold medals at the Summer Olympic Games from 2000 to 2016.
"Despite the fact that we, unfortunately, will not compete at the next Olympics - the country's leadership has done everything for us: we will have international competitions of the BRICS countries and the Friendship Games sports forum. We have not been shut down - we continue to work, compete, raise the level. People who try to bring us down will never succeed - we have always been the first and we will strive for it," said Tatyana Pokrovskaya.#IMAGE_b2a8f6eb-8e8b-41b4-9d0e-1ad0e7945dd6#
