The Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA opens volunteer applications
In early September, the Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will open — it will be a hub of business and cultural life that will host a cutting-edge exposition of the Primorye region. Ahead of the launch, the venue is forming a team for its Volunteer Centre.
A volunteer is someone who is always there — ready to lend a hand at events and help make the space truly welcoming and easy to navigate.
Here’s what volunteers at the Vladivostok branch of the National Centre RUSSIA will be doing: greet guests and assist with accreditation, coordinate audience seating, support interactive and exposition programmes, help tour guides and accompany groups, work at information desks, participate in protocol services, guide visitor flows, and ensure order throughout the venue.
Applications are also open for senior volunteers. This is a position for those ready to take on more responsibility and coordinate volunteer teams. A short online interview is required for this position.
Volunteers are the heart of every event: the ones who greet guests with a smile, help them find their way through a sea of impressions, keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, and inspire others with their energy.
To join the team at the regional branch of the National Centre RUSSIA, applicants must complete a form. Applications are accepted from volunteers aged 14 and over who are registered on the DOBRO.RF platform.
Around 900 people have already joined the volunteer programme at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow. They range in age from 14 to 75.
"We actively promote family volunteering. Parents and children volunteer together, as do ‘silver’ volunteers — one couple in particular has become a model example. Our volunteers take on a variety of tasks, but above all, they bring a spirit of hospitality. They can answer any question, guide visitors and help create a welcoming atmosphere at the Centre," said Ilya Yurchishin, Head of Youth Policy at the National Centre RUSSIA.
Viktoria Sokolova has been volunteering at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow for more than two months.
"I believe this experience will be very helpful in the future, including in my studies. I’m learning to communicate with all kinds of people. Volunteering has brought me many new connections and skills," she said.
According to Ilya Yurchishin, volunteers at the National Centre RUSSIA in Moscow have contributed over 6,000 hours of support at events and in day-to-day operations.
The premiere of the Open Lecture Hall "Inventing the Future: Plots and Stories" was held on 7 February at the National Centre RUSSIA.
The President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, launched the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia at the marathon "Russia — a Family of Families" organised by the Russian society Znanie at the National Centre RUSSIA.
