City of the Future: interactive panorama of Vladivostok at the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye
What will
Vladivostok look like in decades to come? The branch of the National Centre
RUSSIA in the Primorye region offers a space where everyone can see it with
their own eyes and even add something to the picture.
The
"City of the Future" exposition encompasses a panorama of Vladivostok
that comes to life on a large multimedia screen. Here, bays and bridges are
juxtaposed with futuristic buildings, green embankments and new transport
arteries. Any visitor can become a co-author of this city.
An
interactive tablet is installed in front of the screen, where you can draw any
object — from a house to a ship, or even a flying machine. A neural network
turns a drawing into a three-dimensional model and adds it to the overall
picture. Now your ship is sailing along the Golden Horn, and the skyscraper you
invented grows on the site of the future quarter.
The
"City of the Future" has already become one of the most popular
spaces of the exposition of the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Primorye.
Guests stay here a little longer to examine the details, find their drawings on
the screen, and think about what we want Vladivostok to look like in years to
come.
Everyone
can take guided tours at the Centre free of charge. To do this, log in to the
website of the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye region and select a
convenient date and time. Guided tours are held daily, except Mondays, from
10:00 to 20:00. Groups are formed of up to 15 people, with the programme
lasting 90 minutes. You may also join without prior registration if places are
