The expert session of the Open Dialogue of the National Centre RUSSIA will take place on 5 September at the branch of the Centre in the Primorye region. Experts from Russia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, China, India, Thailand, and Bangladesh will join the session on the thematic vector "Investments in Connectivity". The session will continue the first Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth", which was held at the National Centre RUSSIA in April 2025. The moderator will be Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia.

"It is important to hold an open dialogue on how we should build the world of the future, how to form a new platform for global growth. In which countries this growth will occur, on which technologies it will be based, and on which principles and cultural codes. Our task is to ensure that progress benefits people in all countries, which, like Russia, are working on the future. It is precisely through open dialogue that our future and its understanding are shaped," stressed Maxim Oreshkin.

As part of the session "Transformation of Trade Architecture and Connectivity in the New Reality", participants will analyse the prospects for international trade in the coming decade. The discussion will address issues such as regulatory mechanisms and norms of interaction to achieve stability in a multipolar global economy, innovations in payment services, logistics, and digital ecosystems to reduce dependence on critical Western solutions, and the use of the current environment by Russia and its allies to create new centres of trade attraction and revise the existing rules of the game.

The partner of the Open Dialogue in Vladivostok will be the Centre for Cross-Sectoral Expertise "Third Rome". The livestream of the expert session will be available on the website of the National Centre RUSSIA.

The first Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took place in April in Moscow. The event brought together more than 100 participants from 48 countries, including world-class experts and authors of the best essays selected from 700 submissions in 18 languages. The most popular topic was "Investments in Human Capital" (41%).

The discussion continued at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, where at the session "Shaping a New Platform for Global Growth", chaired by Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of Russia, a final report analysing global trends was presented. The report was prepared by the partner of the National Centre RUSSIA — the Centre for Cross-Sectoral Expertise "Third Rome". The Open Dialogue will become an annual event and will be held in an expanded format next year.
